Saturday Trail Running: Sterling Forest

Registration is closed for this event
Love to run trails? Come join us for a morning out on the trails!

Run with the People Who Make the Trails for a scenic exploration of the remarkable new Multi-Use Trail system in Sterling Forest! On this 8-mile loop, you’ll see the finest multi-use trails in the region, designd and built by the Trail Conference.  Since 2015, volunteers have contributed nearly 13,000 hours of labor to the project. Major accomplishements include the rerouting of the Red Back Trail and new construction of the Hutchinson and Munsee-Eagle Trails. The trails wind playfully across stone and wooden bridges through valleys, ravines and a multitude of habitats. Trails also pass glacial erratics and dramatic cliffs, creating a fun, engaging experience that showcases the splendor of Sterling Forest. There will be two run leaders to accommodate faster and slower paces.
