Join our volunteers to clear the verdant Blue Trail at the beautiful Neversink Gorge!
We will hike approximately 8-miles round-trip on mildly hilly terrain, clipping back overgrowth along the sides of the trail. This hike features a beautiful waterfall. (There will also be an opportunity for a shorter work day for those who do not want to go all the way to High Falls, as there is some work to be done closer to the trail head.)
Please bring any loppers, pruners, or pruning saw you may have as well as plenty of water, snacks, and your lunch for a picnic at the river's edge. Wear sturdy closed footwear and bring garden/work gloves if you have them. Registration is required.
If you have any questions, please contact volunteer trail leader Lou Baldanza at [email protected].
***Please note that this is a work trip, not a workshop, so while no prior experience is required, hands-on instruction will be given as the work is done. For a more in-depth educational experience, follow this link to sign up for one of our workshops.
